East Wichita Rotary delivers Thanksgiving turkey dinners  - video created by students from  WSU's "Reporting the News" class. 

As is a favorite tradition of our Club, our members collected money this fall to purchase and deliver a record-setting (!) 92 full Thanksgiving dinners, complete with turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie and rolls, to families in the community that might otherwise go without dinner on this special holiday!  Our members and their families look forward to this day every year because it is a time to share a smile with fellow Wichitans and present them with a good meal to share with their family!  Deliveries were done this year on the Tuesday before a Thanksgiving, a wonderful change that was met with enthusiasm ... and an incredibly beautiful November afternoon!  Many thanks to our resident "photographer extraordinaire", Ric Wolford, for documenting the fun with his picture-taking expertise!  Click here for the photo album.
