With historic rains in Wichita for days and days ahead of Riverfest 2019, there was concern if this year's "Wichita party" would be a success! Based on the smiles of these East Wichita Rotary volunteers above (and more pix, by following the link below), nothing could be further from the truth! Many thanks to our members for stepping up to help for this community service project! Our group was assigned two shifts: opening day, Friday, May 31, and again on Thursday, June 6. The Thursday date initially posed a challenge to find volunteers but, never fear, our Rotarians stepped up and answered the call! We had a great group of volunteers for Friday AND Thursday!
